What exactly is a learning layer?
A layer that sits around your agents and turns their failures into verified improvements. It observes what went wrong, tests candidate fixes in a harness, and deploys approved changes into the exact artifacts that must change — prompts, context, tools, policies, evaluation, or environment — with evidence and review history attached.
Does LonsLabs replace our agent framework or model provider?
No. LonsLabs is framework- and model-agnostic. It reads traces from what you already run and writes changes back to your repositories.
Which artifacts can LonsLabs change?
Six: prompts, context, tools, policies, evaluation logic, and environment configuration. Each change is routed to the artifact's owner.
How are failures detected?
Three ways: humans flag them (support agents, reviewers, annotators), monitors flag them (evaluation checks, production metrics), or LonsLabs clusters recurring patterns from traces.
Who approves a change?
The owner of the artifact, plus any approvers your permission rules require. LonsLabs enforces those rules rather than working around them.
What if a fix passes the harness but fails in production?
Production measurement reopens the loop. The new evidence attaches to the original change, a fresh harness case is created, and the next candidate must pass both.
Can it resolve disagreements about what a rule means?
Yes. Conflicting interpretations are treated as a defect in the rule. LonsLabs drafts clarified guidance, routes it for review, and updates the clause text itself once approved.
How long does onboarding take?
A pilot is typically live within a week: connect tracing, map artifact owners, and start from a handful of real failures.
Where is our data stored?
LonsLabs Cloud is hosted in the EU. Private-cloud and on-premises deployments keep content in your environment.
Do you train on our content?
No. Customer content is processed only to deliver the service to you.
Can we export everything?
Yes. Change records, harness cases, and artifact edits are exportable at any time, and artifact edits already live in your repositories.
How is LonsLabs priced?
Per agent in the loop, with unlimited reviewers and owners. See the pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
A 60-day pilot covering up to two agents is free.
Do you sign DPAs and custom agreements?
Yes. A standard DPA is available for all customers; Enterprise agreements can include custom terms and SLAs.
